The Pennsylvania State Police will host a Citizens' Police Academy for Lebanon County residents interested in expanding their knowledge of the law and police procedure.

The free 10-week class will be at the Lebanon Municipal Building, 400 South Eighth St., beginning Sept. 18 and ending Nov. 20. Participants will meet each Monday night from 6:30 to 8:45 with exception of Tuesday Oct. 10 and Tuesday Oct. 17. Students must attend at least 75 percent of the scheduled classes in order to graduate and receive a certificate.

Participants must be at least 18 and a resident of Pennsylvania. Class size is limited and participants will be selected from interested applicants.
